This console table is influenced by the Muisca indigenous tribe, based in the Altiplano Cundiboyacense region in Colombia. They were known for their advanced metalworking skills, and are famous for the legend El Dorado, involving offering of gold in a lake.

This console table is inspired by pre-Colombian jewelry and gold ornaments the Muisca indigenous group specialized in. It is a homage to the craftsmanship of my country and the objects I got to experience growing up.
